Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. (‭Psalm‬ ‭143‬:‭8‬ NIV)

i saw your college question and sorry to like pry or anything lol but i'm thinking about going out of state and my parents aren't really big on the idea not for money but cause it's far. do you know any way for like talking to them and trying to convince them it's a good idea?

Here’s what I’m doing with my parents:
The biggest issue is probably money so try to apply for all the scholarships and everything they offer and if you qualify for academic reasons or athletics! Compare the price of the out of state school to an instate school and see which is overall less expensive. You could also make pro and cons list!! It helps if the school you want to go has connections within your family that they feel comfortable with (like if a family member had gone there etc). Also it helps if you stay somewhat close to home.. I personally couldn’t imagine being farther than about 9 hrs, which is what University of Alabama is for me!

Hope this helped :)
